Being linked to a powerful political family means never having a moment of privacy. Reporters and paparazzi are always around to stalk your evey move, and once you slip up they're right there to catch all of the tea. This has been the case for the powerful Biden family, especially after patriarch Joe Biden became vice president back in 2008. A popular political figure, Biden has had all of his family's drama sprawled out for the entire world to see for many years.

Tragedy struck the Biden's hard when Joe's son Beau suffered a stroke in 2010, though there were no long lasting effects until a few years later when it was revealed he had cancer. CNN reports;

In 2013, Beau Biden was treated at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston after he became disoriented and weak while on vacation. He was diagnosed with brain cancer, and after undergoing surgery was given a clean bill of health. Cancer returned this spring and Biden pursued aggressive treatment at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, the vice president's office said. He died Saturday evening, surrounded by his extended family.

The tragedy shook up the family, but the person it affected most was Biden's youngest son Hunter, who has always been very vocal about his struggles with addiction. In an extremely personal interview with The New Yorker (via CNN) Hunter Biden opened up about his everyday trials and tribulations.

"Look, everybody faces pain," Hunter Biden told The New Yorker's Adam Entous. "Everybody has trauma. There's addiction in every family. I was in that darkness. I was in that tunnel -- it's a never-ending tunnel. You don't get rid of it. You figure out how to deal with it."

Unfortunately Biden's troubles have resurfaced once again. Pop Culture reports Biden may have been smoking an illegal substance while visiting Archibald's Gentlemen's Club in Washington D.C. recently. And it's alleged that the illegal substance was crack cocaine. According to the club's managing partner James Ritter;

"There was a smell of burning Styrofoam in the VIP room. We told him nothing illegal can go on here," Ritter said. "We didn't see anything illegal. After he was spoken to, the smell stopped. VIP employees suspected it was crack."

Ritter shared many more details on Biden's alleged visits to his club. He said that the 49-year-old spent "thousands and thousands of dollars in Archibald's VIP rooms," and he paid with "credit cards that didn't have his name on it." Ritter added that, like most clubs, Archibald's generally requires customers to pay with an ID that matches their official IDs, but said that "Hunter was a bit of an exception.

As of now the Biden family has yet to release a statement on these new allegations.
