Hilaria Baldwin has been going through a rough time after sharing the fact that she has miscarried for the second time, and anonymous trolls on the internet are doing what they always do, making cruel comments.

The wife of Alec Baldwin tragically suffered a miscarriage earlier in the year, and at the beginning of this month lost another baby quite far along in her pregnancy.

She has received some horrific comments on Instagram and has recently defended herself for sharing her story.

Earlier this year, Hilaria posted a picture to her Instagram, cradling her belly, with a caption about the horrible loss.

She wrote, "I want to share with you that I am most likely experiencing a miscarriage. I always promised myself that if I were to get pregnant again, I would share the news with you guys pretty early, even if that means suffering a public loss. I have always been so open with you all about my family, fitness, pregnancies...and I don’t want to keep this from you, just because it isn’t as positive and shiny as the rest. I think it’s important to show the truth...because my job is to help people by being real and open. Furthermore, I have no shame or embarrassment with this experience. I want to be a part of the effort to normalize miscarriage and remove the stigma from it. "

Tragically, Hilaria suffered another miscarriage earlier this month, which she didn't find out about until an ultrasound quite late in the pregnancy.

She has been sharing her story online, in a bid to take away the stigma of miscarriage, which so many women have suffered through in silence.

On November 12, she went in for surgery to have a D&C, updating her 703k followers on Instagram afterward. She wrote, "Eyes swollen from crying, groggy from anesthesia, crampy from the surgery...but I made it and I want you to know that I’m physically ok. I’m grateful for my family, friends, doctors and nurses, and all of you who have held my hand through this difficult time. You have no idea how much this means to me. One foot in front of the I begin the healing journey."

She recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the difficult period she's going through, saying, "I believe, when you go through something difficult, the sooner you make it into something real, you can do something with it."

She continued, "And it was something that you don't want to be real... I kept on waking up and thinking it was a bad dream and it wasn't, but the more that you talk about it, the more you make it real, and when it's real, then you can work on it."

While being so open about her suffering, she has received negative comments online, claiming she is an 'attention seeker,' 'too old,' and 'disgusting.'

She responded by posting a series of statements to her Instagram Stories, writing, "Losing a baby at any stage is rock bottom. Rock bottom sucks. But rock bottom is also eye-opening. Because you understand and have experienced true pain. It makes the trolls seem even smaller than they usually are. Because no words they can use can ever compare to what you have lost."

She continued, "Because of societal pressure, most of us stay silent. And this can be one of the loneliest pains possible. "

Kudos to Hilaria for standing up to the internet bullies, and we wish her all the love as she heals from her devastating loss.
