Rihanna fans have something else to look forward to! It’s still not new music though. The sometimes singer has announced that she will be opening a lingerie store for her Savage X Fenty line. Christiane Pendarvis, co-president and chief merchandising and design officer shared the exciting news with fans of the fashion line.
“You’re actually going to see stores. I can’t tell you when [because] I’d be spoiling the surprise in the buildup,” she stated. But 2022 is the year it will take place for sure. “Retail we think is an important component for us. We know that intimate apparel specifically because fit and comfort are so important.”

The Natural Move

It felt like a natural move for the company that was founded in May 2018 and has taken off since then. The shift comes from necessity claims the co-president. “They’re just customers who don’t feel comfortable purchasing online and they want to be able to go physically try the product on.”
It’s hard enough to find a bra size in person let alone online. Pendarvis points out that the team at Fenty knows that their customers value, “touch” and “feel” and now they can “make sure they found the right size and the right fit for them,” in their new stores. “Retail is a part of our growth strategy.”
Still Under Wraps

While she did not reveal too much, Pendarvis shared that the stores are official and while no open date has been announced, you will be trying on your Fenty sooner than you think. “You will absolutely see some stores in 2022. Can’t tell you exactly when. I can tell you exactly where but we’re incredibly excited about bringing this brand.”
When Pendarvis states that doesn’t know exactly where the stores will be, that’s true but one can safely assume they will be opening in the United States. Rihanna’s Fenty brand has helped the “Rude Boy” singer reach billionaire status.
She recently became the highest-paid female musician in the world and in February the company officially reach $1 billion status.
Fenty Runway Show
The singer recently premiered her Savage runway show Vol 3 on Amazon Prime. The sexy night featured models, influencers, singers, makeup artists, you name it, and more, modeling the sexy pieces for men, women and non-binary people.
Much like what fans get to see in the company’s social media posts, the show brought color and pizzaz and features out-of-the-box styles. In addition to Rihanna’s lingerie being what her fans want, it is also pretty affordable which again, is a big deal for lingerie.
No Word From RiRi

The singer has yet to comment on the next big move for her company, she is still celebrating the success of her Savage X Fenty fashion show. The “Umbrella” singer posted a video of the pandemonium that took place outside of the show and backstage.
Fans were going crazy to see who was going to perform and how they planned on one-upping last year’s show. The models were riddled with excitement as they scattered to get the runway ready. Are you making the switch from online to in-store?
