Chloe Bailey is one of the biggest stars in pop and R&B right now, as she’s having a very impressive solo run. At the same time, she’s still in her “Chloe x Halle” group, with her sister, Halle. Chloe Speaks On Her Critics In ‘The Real’ Appearance
Chloe was asked about these negative comments that she still experiences, in a new interview on “The Real.” Chloe explained how she’s being her authentic self, and how she accepts the fact that many will like her, while others will not.
“I think it’s about the support system you have around you. I have to remind myself, as long as I’m being authentic and being myself, then, that’s all that matters,” Chloe siad. People say I do too much and maybe I do, but it’s not on purpose, it’s just who I am… You can’t please everybody. Some people will like me, some people don’t. And that’s okay. They’re talking, so that’s good!”
Chloe Explains How Much Creating Music Makes Her Happy
On Chloe’s The Real appearance, she also touched on the joy that music gives her in general, having the opportunity to work with her sister, and even getting some solo records out.
“When I write and create music, it’s like, this is what I would tell myself to make myself feel better and to kind of pump myself up. I love creating music with my sister and being in a group with her so doing this solo, it’s been like, I have to be like, ‘Okay Chlöe, you can do it. You’re special. Everything you have to say matters.’ So, it’s been a journey for sure.”

Chloe Has Been Seeing Success With “Have Mercy” Solo Single
Last month, Chloe also released her debut solo single, “Have Mercy.” This record was also accompanied by the video for it, on the night of its release, and had social media going crazy. Chloe definitely came with the impressive sex appeal, and also continued to show how great of a performer she is. Many took to social media to express that it’s evident that she’s been mentored by Beyoncé, and it shows in her songs and moves. A few days after Have Mercy’s release, Chloe performed it for the first time, at the 2021 VMAs. She put on a show, as one of the most viral moments from that was her licking her microphone, in the middle of that performance. This solo success also comes after Chloe and Halle released their sophomore album, “Ungodly Hour,” back in the summer of 2020.
