Dog The Bounty Hunter Filming Search For Brian Laundrie On Wife's Cell Phone!

Dog The Bounty Hunter isn't filming his search for suspected killer Brian Laundrie for an upcoming television show, in fact, only his wife has taken a bit of footage on her personal cell phone!

According to multiple reports, Duane 'Dog' Chapman didn't join the hunt for Gabby Petito's fiance because he saw an opportunity to film another season of his popular reality show. Instead, he says he has gotten close to the Petito family and hopes to help them get closure in this case.

As you know, normally Dog films his more prominent hunts, and the footage is included in his hit television show 'Dog The Bounty Hunter.' Plus, the reality star has been sharing bits and pieces of the hunt on Instagram. Turns out, the footage is primarily taken on his wife -- Francie Frane's -- cell phone.

The Dog has been contacted by multiple networks over the past few days that are hoping he will work with them on resurrecting his reality show. As we reported, Dog is currently without an ongoing reality show after his latest deal fell apart. Obviously, the networks are hoping they can convince Dog to sign up with them following his search for Brian Laundrie. We are guessing the same producers will make a run at combining the manhunt for Brian Laundrie into the series.

The reality star claims Francie's cell phone footage would obviously be included in any deal he signs following the end of the manhunt. Hopefully, Dog can catch up with the fugitive and capture the moment he is taken into custody on film. Also, any new show will feature his new wife, Dog insisted, who is currently working with him on the manhunt.

It should be noted, Dog says he had NO ulterior motive in trying to land a television spot when deciding to join the hunt. In fact, Dog and Francie were on their honeymoon when the news broke that Brian Laundrie was missing. He claims he only got involved "because of my unique skill set and the fact I was only an hour away from where he was last seen."

Apparently, Dog has gotten quite close to the Petito family and is hoping he can bring closure to them.

The reality star IS interested in a new television show and is gladly setting up meetings for AFTER he can track down the fugitive. As we reported, the bounty hunter is currently searching for Laundrie near the coast of Florida, believing he might be near an island off the coast. Dog posted a video of himself at the scene, which appears to be near a boat the team is taking to a remote coastal location.

The news comes on the heels of Brian's sister admitting she saw the fugitive in the days following the disappearance of Gabby Petito. The reason it's important is she previously told GMA she hadn't seen him since he left for the road trip with his fiancee. Turns out, she hung out with him at a local campground with their parents.

The hunt is ongoing.
