It’s as if the songstress knew exactly what her fans needed! Adele has confirmed via a tantalizing post on Instagram that new music is officially coming. The singer posted a black and white video possibly a clip from the accompanying music video to a song set to be released October 15.
“Easy On Me – October 15,” she wrote alongside the somber clip.

This song will be the first single for Adele’s upcoming album, 30 which she low key teased a short time ago. The confirmed song is the first in six years for Adele whose last studio album was 25 and featured an emotional rollercoaster of all the feels of love, the good and the bad.
In the clip, the singer is seen putting a cassette tape in a car radio, turning it up, and cruising down the road while her fingers dance in the wind. No lyrics are heard but the familiar tune is one that brings up memories of 21.

Not much is known about the singer’s upcoming album 30, in fact, fans weren’t even sure that they would see an album from the “Someone Like You” singer for a while. That being said, now that it is confirmed, we can only speculate what it will talk about.
Adele has recently gotten a divorce, took some time for herself and her son Angelo, she was also allegedly moved, you know for a true fresh start. In the past, her albums have reflected what was going on during her life at the time and this one will probably do the same. Her divorce to non-profit CEO Simon Konecki is sure to produce another powerhouse ballad from the mom of one.
Adele has also recently made headlines for her new romance with Rich Paul, a sports agent with A-list clients like Lebron James. She supposedly started dating him at the beginning of the year so fans could possibly get a fun love pop song for a change.
It’s not sure if Paul made the cut for the album, the romance could still be too early to tell if she wants to solidify him in her work. That being said, she certainly got down at Paul’s friend’s wedding where she learned a few new moves and was ultimate, the life of the party.
Could this indicate that Adele who has long loved all genres of music and famously rapped Nicki Minaj’s verse from Monster flawlessly, is playing with different genres on her fourth studio album?
As for now, fans will be anticipating the drop of “Easy On Me” on October 15. The post has already amassed over 2 million likes and needless to say, but stans are going nuts in the comments both thanking the singer and freaking out about the unexpected news.
“Omgg thank youuuuu I have been waiting!” shared one fan. Some are even ambitiously already calling it, the “best song” they’ve ever heard, a stretch to make after only a 15-second clip of course, but that is how desperate fans have been to have something new to play in the background while they get over their breakup!
