Meghan Trainor and her brother Ryan Trainor recently appeared on the “Why Won’t You Date Me?” podcast hosted by Nicole Byer to talk about some weird habits that Meghan shares with her husband.
Trainor first married her husband, “Spy Kids” actor Daryl Sabara, in 2018, after being introduced by “Carrie” actress Chloë Grace Moretz. The couple welcomed their first son, Riley, in February 2021, and despite her difficult pregnancy, Trainor says that she is ready for three more kids.
According to her brother, Ryan, he wants to avoid a relationship like Meghan’s “at all costs,” as the couple has been known to engage in some strange practices together.

Two Toilets, One Bathroom
Trainor revealed that she does not like using public restrooms, and feels much more comfortable going if her husband is there to block the door.
She actually feels so comfortable with him in the bathroom with her that she decided to have two toilets installed together side by side so that the couple could use the bathroom together when they need to.
“We just got a new house and we did construction – nobody knows this – but in our bathroom, there was one toilet,” she explained. “A lot of times in the middle of the night when we’re with the baby, we gotta pee at the same time. So I was like, ‘Can we please have two toilets next to each other?’”
Although the contractor first thought she was joking, Trainor now has two toilets side by side in her house so she and her husband can use the bathroom together.

…Seriously?
Although Trainor admits that the couple uses the bathroom together “often,” her brother Ryan thinks that she and her husband are “weirdos.”
“They poop together,” Ryan continued. “She’s pooping and Daryl’s like, ‘I’m going to go hang out with you now!’”
Meghan quickly countered the statement, saying that she and her husband have “only ever pooped twice together” because it “smells foul.”
A lot of fans were not on board with the strange bathroom habit. “I don’t even like pooping with my own self,” one fan wrote alongside the emojis of a woozy face and a nauseated face.

New Podcast
In the meantime, she and her brother Ryan are working on creating their own podcast, called “Workin’ On It.” The podcast will be available on iHeartRadio and other major streaming providers, such as Spotify and Apple Podcasts. The pair will talk about topics related to, “becoming a new mom, navigating Hollywood, mental health, and everything in between. Meghan, Ryan, and friends will speak their truth and leave no details behind.”
Although it remains to be seen if the pair share any more quirky couple hacks, the “All About that Bass” singer found that the bond she shares with her husband by using the bathroom together helped make the transition into motherhood easier.
She explained, “The biggest change is that anytime I walk into a room with him in it, it’s the biggest smile and the most joy, the most love anyone could ever give you. He recognizes me and he’s like, ‘I’m so excited to see you.’ And to look at that and be like, ‘I made that. That’s crazy. That came from love. That came from soulmates.’ It’s the greatest.”
