Former MLB player, Alex Rodriguez recalls a moment when he reviewed some decades-old footage of himself gushing over his now-fiance Jennifer Lopez. A-Rod was on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday when he viewed a 1998 clip of himself calling J Lo his 'dream date.' The video clip resurfaced over this summer.

He told Fallon that it took '20 years' to get with JLo.

"I would say it's stressful, but it's really not. You just let Jennifer plan everything and you say, 'Alright!'" he teased.

Fallon asked if the two would do a choreographed first dance, he didn't seem so sure. Only if he gets drunk!

"Anything to do with dance, I gotta just take a back seat. She's a professional dancer," he said. But there's still hope for him yet. "When I have a few cocktails, I'm not awful. A little vodka, a little soda, I'm OK," he insisted.

Fallon suggested that the couple have their nuptials at the Super Bowl where JLo will be performing at the half-time show.

A-Rod is all 'pumped-up' about his upcoming nuptials to Jennifer Lopez. Fallon said that "Everyone would love it" if they marry at the Super Bowl. A-Rod isn't so sure.

"A hundred million people? We're trying to think a little bit smaller, more like 100 people maybe?" Rodriguez replied, joking that if they had a Super Bowl wedding he could "save some money" and have Fox and the NFL pay for it."

That seems like a 'long-shot!' I'm sure they would prefer a 'private wedding' over spectators witnessing them getting hitched!

A-Rod Proposed to JLo Back in March

A-Rod popped the question to JLo back in March. A-Rod was married at the time to Cynthia Scurtis, while Lopez was with her then-husband Marc Anthony.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Alex opens up about how he got to where he is now.

"How the f--- did I get here?, he asked himself, f-bomb and all; he uses it a lot, as you’ll see. That had been what he was thinking as his girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, reassured a shaking Cooper during the commercial break before Cooper’s performance. (“When you hear the song, and you hear the people’s reaction, jump on that wave and go with it.”

A-Rod's Dispute with the MLB

A-Rod's dispute five years ago with the MLB wasn't pretty. He thought he was ruined as the Yankees third baseman.

"This is f------ bulls---!” he had screamed before storming out of Major League Baseball’s offices and into the barricaded media circus awaiting on Park Avenue, thereby ending his participation in arbitration hearings that would result in his being banned for the entire 2014 season. It was the sport’s longest-ever suspension for performance-enhancing drugs, its extent justified not just by the strong evidence against Rodriguez but also by his determined efforts to impede the league’s investigation. It was, it seemed, the death knell for A-Rod’s reputation, if not his public life.
