These are uncertain times for stars of “Real Housewives Of Atlanta,” especially NeNe Leakes, who recently lost her husband, as the show’s producers seek fresh faces for the program.
With the exit of the show’s old stars, Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams, the seat for their positions is up for grabs.
Bravo executives are looking towards restructuring the incomplete cast while also stirring up drama for the upcoming 14th season, insiders reported to HollywoodLife.
Leakes Is Out!
A source said that “no one should expect to see Leakes come back any time soon, if ever again at all,” as her rumored return is false. This is due to the way things ended between the tv personality and the network last season.
Currently, no members of the show, including Drew Sidora, Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss, and Falynn Guobadia, have been requested to return to the series, a production source revealed.
The show’s producers have their eyes on athletes as new cast members on the show.
Although the HollywoodLife source did not expose who the athletes are, they said Bravo was considering a professional basketball player, as they needed “different ladies with a different vibe.”

Calling For A Boycott
In December 2020, The Blast reported that Leakes was so upset by her former employers that she asked fans to stay away from the popular reality show.
The wife of late Gregg Leakes decided to leave the show, although it was unclear what went wrong during her last contract negotiation with the production company and network.
That year, the 53-year-old confirmed she would not return for the show’s 13th season because the black women who created shows “and built networks were being demoted” behind the scenes.
The presenter took a stand on Twitter and asked people to turn off their TVs when the show came on.
The mother-of-two said she was happy to have been a part of a genre that opened doors for black reality shows then thanked Bravo and cast members for the memories.
The actress later confirmed she was forced off the show and alleged that she was given no “fair offer” to film the following season.

Her Husband’s Passing
The Blast detailed how the NeNe Leakes opened up about her final moments with the late Gregg Leakes, who battled cancer in a September article.
The 53-year-old got candid with PEOPLE about her last conversations with the late businessman who died on September 1.
The actress said the last five days before he passed were really beautiful as his close friends and children were by his side.
Leakes revealed that she and her husband of 25 years talked a lot and made peace with what was happening.
Her partner had said to her, “I’m not going to leave you. God is going to bless you.” As he took his final breath, the businesswoman held him and kissed him.
The tv-personality told the magazine she is trying to adjust to her life without Gregg, though a part of her is “still waiting for him to come home.”
