Days after welcoming their first child, a daughter, Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi share their baby girl's name with the rest of the world.
In the early hours of today, the royal took to Twitter to reveal her daughter's name alongside a heartwarming photo of what looked like her daughter's footprint with the date of her birth. The Princess of York wrote:
We are delighted to share that we have named our daughter Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi.
Princess Beatrice shared that her stepson Wolfie was the "best big brother" to Sienna and assured fans that the family was doing well.
Her property tycoon husband also took to his Instagram to share the gorgeous name, alongside a heartwarming message that described the joy of welcoming his daughter.
Mozzi wrote that he felt grateful and noted these were the days he didn't want to forget. He concluded his message, appreciating the medical team that attended to his family.
Of course, it is no news that the new parents paid tribute to their grandmother, the Queen, with their daughter being the monarch's namesake.
Sienna follows in the footsteps of her other royal cousins, such as Prince William and Kate Middleton's daughter, who is named Charlotte Elizabeth.
Also, Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips gave their daughters "Elizabeth," as a middle name, and not to forget Harry and Meghan's unique touch with Lilibet, the Queen's fond childhood nickname.
A Royal Baby Is Born!
The Blast previously reported that Princess Beatrice and Mozzi officially welcomed their first child together on September 20. The great news was confirmed with a statement from Buckingham Palace that read:
Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter on Saturday 18th September 2021, at 23.42, at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London.
The statement explained that the Sienna weighed 6 pounds and 2 ounces at birth and noted that her grandparents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, alongside the Queen, were delighted by her arrival.

Sienna is Her Majesty's 12th great-grandchild. According to People, the young royal will have a title due to her father's Italian aristocrat heritage and not because she is the Queen's great-grandchild.
Mozzi's father, Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi, is a count, and the business tycoon is set to inherit the title from him. Upon marrying Mozzi, Princess Beatrice became a countess, and all their kids would either be counts or mobile donna.
A Year Of Royal Babies
2021 has indeed been a year of royal great-grandchildren, with Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank starting the chain with the birth of their son August back in February.
Prince Harry and Meghan soon followed suit with the birth of their daughter Lilibet Diana in July, and now Princess Beatrice. What a year!
