Cardi B Recalls Her Difficult Delivery And Gets Candid About 'Pouchy-Pouch' Postpartum Body

Weeks after welcoming her second child, rapper Cardi B looked back on her rough delivery and opened up about her post-baby weight.

The American rapper and her husband Offset welcomed a bouncing baby boy, their second child, on September 4. The pair have been married since September 2017 and have a 3-year-old daughter, Kulture Kairi.

On Thursday, the new mother took to her Instagram Story to tell followers about the challenges that happened during the delivery of her son.

The Grammy winner expressed to the public that her yet-to-be-named son had a "crazy ass delivery." Cardi B said she lost a lot of blood and, as for her current physical state, her skin was still loose. 

Then, addressing her postpartum body, the star pointed at the lower belly fat, calling it a "little pouchy-pouch."

She encouraged new moms to take the time to heal after giving birth instead of hurrying to get back to their former size, adding, "it's really hard dealing with kids."

The 28-year-old broke the news of her son's safe arrival with a lovely photo of the baby boy cradled in her arms as she sat on a hospital bed next to the Migos member.

The star kept her caption simple, writing her son's birthday with a blue dinosaur and heart and a brown teddy bear emoji.

The proud parents told PEOPLE they were over the moon to meet their son, who "is already loved so much by family and friends." The "WAP" artist surprised the world with her pregnancy reveal during her BET Awards performance with Migos in June.

The Blast previously reported that the "Up" singer revealed to her followers on Twitter this week that she has been experiencing negative emotions since childbirth.

The 28-year-old said she cries at random moments and cannot wait for the "weird postpartum hormones" to leave her body completely. 

Cardi B's candid post was met with a swarm of support from fans who rushed to offer the rapper much-needed positive energy.

Her Twitter followers said they were proud of the "Bodak Yellow" rapper for lending her voice to the topic because many women go through many rough feelings after their delivery. 

A fan encouraged people to normalize postpartum emotions adding, "some people don't believe this is an actual thing!"

Earlier this week,  the "I Like It" crooner left her Instagram page abuzz when she debuted a sizzling photo of herself in haute couture.

The jaw-dropping photo the hot mom shared showed her rocking a cherry red sequin dress with a plunging neckline and matching gloves.

The gown also had a corset-style bustier covered in shimmering crystals. However, the highlight of the outfit was the unique, eye-catching cape with dramatic red feathers that made Cardi B look fierce.

She captioned the post "MUGLER MAMI," tagging fashion designer Manfred Thierry Mugler and the official page of his brand Mugler.
