Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert have been viewed as "relationship goals" on social media for a while now. The rapper/singer and former NBA star have been married since fall 2016, and have consistently shown publicly how much they mean to each other. Taylor is also known as one of the best dancers and performers in the world, and recently, Shumpert appeared on "Dancing With The Stars."

Shumpert Had Solid Performance On 'Dancing With The Stars'

Last week, Shumpert appeared on DWTS, and definitely delivered some nice moves. The former NBA champion danced with Daniella Karagach, to Outkast's "Hey Ya!" This week, he had a performance to Donell Jones' "You Know What's Up."

Viewers on social media were surprised by how well Shumpert did, but for Taylor, she expected these solid performances.

Taylor Praises Shumpert's Efforts On 'DWTS'

Taylor was recently asked by TMZ about Shumpert's "DWTS" appearances, and for the singer, this is nothing new to her, about her husband. She revealed how Shumpert is always showing off his moves at her dance rehearsals, so he's always able to get some practice in.

"I mean he's always at all my rehearsals," Taylor explained. "He's always jumpin' in my rehearsals dancing with me. I think he's doing amazing. The lines, the techniques, his versatility. I love it! He just needs to keep being perfect and keep having that authenticity and keep having fun with it."

Taylor Is Retiring From Music

Last year, Taylor had a surprising announcement for her fans, which was that she was officially on her way to retirement, from music. The Harlem native explained how she felt very unappreciated, despite seeing huge success with her "The Album" project, which was released last summer. That album saw a number seven debut, on the Billboard 200 chart. It contained 23 tracks, with appearances from Lauryn Hill, Rick Ross, Iman Shumpert, her daughter Junie, Erykah Badu, Future, and more. The album was also her second album, since 2018. Taylor continues to perform creative director work, which includes for music videos, and for the popular fashion line, Pretty Little Thing.

Taylor Is Going On One More Tour Before Calling It A Career

Last week, Taylor also made a huge announcement to her fans, which was that she would be going on tour, for the final time, before officially entering the retirement chapter, of her life. This is the "The Last Rose Petal" Tour.

"How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard…." Taylor said on her Instagram feed. "However for every goodbye, God makes the next hello closer. Come out and watch me, leave it all out on the stage… One last time… Just for you & as my last rose petal falls, I say farewell…."

The Last Rose Petal Tour will officially kick off on November 7, in San Francisco, and conclude on November 30, in Atlanta. 12 dates will be available in total, which also includes her hometown of New York City, on November 21. Presale tickets are available now, with general ticket sales, starting on October 1.
