The scary situation was entered into the FAA database on Wednesday to include the preliminary information.
According to the report, the situation is listed as an “incident” and not an “accident,” and states that upon takeoff, “Declared emergency due to two blown tires on departure, diverted and landed w/o incident.”
The preliminary information also states that there were no injuries among the 16 passengers.
As we reported, Posty was heading to London for a performance when the tires on the Gulfstream IV blew out.
