Mel Gibson’s ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva claims the domestic violence she suffered at the hands of the actor left her with post-traumatic stress disorder, and claims the stress she endured dealing with litigation afterward contributed to the development of a tumor.

In newly filed court docs obtained by The Blast, Grigorieva claims she has "been diagnosed with PTSD due to domestic violence and the protracted, expensive and difficult paternity battle I had to endure."

Gibson was charged with misdemeanor battery against Grigorieva and ultimately cut a plea deal with prosecutors in 2011.

The PTSD isn't the only medical issue Oksana claims to have suffered as a result of her issues with Gibson — she says the whole ordeal actually caused her to grow a tumor near her brain.

Grigorieva says, "As a result of the stresses of litigation and bankruptcy, I was recently diagnosed with a pituitary adenoma and will need to go through treatments in the near future, with increased medical bills."

Pituitary adenomas are slow-growing tumors located in the pituitary gland.

Grigorieva says the only subsequent change in the paternity case was the court order for "her daughter's father to provide rent free accommodation to her daughter and herself as compensation for domestic violence," which has now been converted into monthly payments added to the support already paid by the "Daddy's Home 2" star.

She filed the documents this week as part of her ongoing battle with a forensic accounting firm that claims she owes them $108,000 for work done during her paternity battle with Gibson.

Grigorieva is also worried that if the accounting firm were to take the money she received from Gibson, which she uses to pay off her bankruptcy debt, "It could possibly result in a reduction of my child support and negatively affect the health and well being of my daughter."

As The Blast first reported, the accounting firm of White, Zuckerman, Warsavsky, Luna & Hunt filed docs last month, requesting permission to go after her for an alleged unpaid bill totaling $108,887.24.
