An obsessed fan who has gone through multiple attempts to try and get near Katy Perry has been arrested and charged with aggravated stalking, and also vowed that he "will do whatever it takes to be with Katy Perry."

The 37-year-old man, who is from Poland and in the U.S. on a Tourist Visa, was arrested Wednesday after entering a restricted area at the American Airlines Arena in Miami where Perry was performing, and attempting to rush the stage.

According to the report, he told cops he tried to make contact with the singer at her hotel the night before, and hid in a stairwell so her security team would not detect him, but was unsuccessful.

He also tried to make contact with Perry while she was at Walt Disney World earlier this week, but could not get to her. When cops asked the man if he would harm the singer, he replied, "I will do whatever it takes to be with Katy Perry."

The deranged man has been to six of her recent shows, including Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago and Grand Rapids in the past twenty days.

He even admitted to secretly following her to a steakhouse to "surprise her," and when asked by cops what the surprise was, he smiled and said "Whatever it takes to be with her."

The man is now facing charges of aggravated stalking, escaping, loitering and resisting an officer without violence.
