Taylor Swift Impresses 9 Million In Skimpy Holiday Bikini

Taylor Swift disabled comments to her headline-making Fourth of July photos on Instagram, but that didn't stop fans leaving likes. On July 7, 2023, the Grammy-winning singer made headlines for throwing her annual Independence Day party, also for including famous faces in a two-slide Instagram share that showed her bikini-clad. Joined by singer Selena Gomez and the Haim sisters, Taylor thrilled her fans with a celebratory outdoor shot, also sharing indoor polaroids of her squad getting goofy and partying it up. The post has now topped 9 million fan likes.

Rocking a plunging, cupped bikini top from brand Solid & Striped, the 34-year-old flashed hints of her curves and long legs as she added in a holiday-appropriate pair of acid-wash shorts in denim. Surrounded by her friends and with 31-year-old Selena seen grinning ear to ear, Taylor made it happy vibes all around, and there was more to come.

Fans also got polaroid snapshots of the squad having fun in a kitchen and posing for group shots. The bottom two photos reminded fans of Swift's close bond with Texas-born singer Gomez, as the two hugged, then posed for a goofy snap with a blue, red, and white popsicle. In a caption, Taylor told fans: "Happy belated Independence Day from your local neighborhood independent girlies." The singer is, of course, now legendary for the annual Fourth of July parties she throws, many of which have seen her rocking patriotic swimwear.

Selena has opened up about her friendship with Taylor, even going as far as saying that the blonde is her only true pal in Hollywood.

“I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities,” she told Rolling Stone in 2022. “My only friend in the industry really is Taylor [Swift], so I remember feeling like I didn’t belong." Taylor meanwhile, has since gushed about another major music face: none other than R&B queen Beyoncé. In December 2023, The Tortured Poets Department hitmaker said:

“She’s the most precious gem of a person — warm and open and funny. And she’s such a great disrupter of music-industry norms. She taught every artist how to flip the table and challenge archaic business practices.”

Taylor released her smash-hit The Tortured Poets Department album last month, surprising fans with a 2 a.m. second half that hadn't been announced at all. She called the EP "an anthology of new works that reflect events, opinions and sentiments from a fleeting and fatalistic moment in time."
