The Actor Gave Fans Access To His Court Files

In the post's caption, Tyrese directed fans to a link on his Instagram bio that led to a Google Drive file housing his latest court documents. He also reshared the same message from his first update, where he accused his ex-wife of severe crimes.

The original post, per The Blast, captured a screenshot of the court document. However, the zoomed-in image didn't reveal what the legal case was about. Instead, Tyrese spilled the tea in the caption, writing:

"I'm finally addressing because I have to… I've read your comments, so here's my response… The days of me suffering in silence and living in fear are over…. 167 pages filed in the Los Angeles courthouse 111 Hill Street…"

The actor's message seemingly accused Norma of multiple wrongs, including "Blackmail, extortion, defamation, death threats, tax evasion, forged signatures, falsified bank statements, domestic and international wire fraud," plus "money laundering."

However, he implied that these crimes would presumably be overlooked since a man didn't commit them. He doubled down on the struggles his gender faces in the law, that people don't care when bad things happen to men.

"Not to worry… Don't hold your breath; there will be no crying videos uploaded," Tyrese continued before concluding on the powerful note, "Never ever forget… The lie will always appear to matter more than the TRUTH."

Before sharing his latest court documents with fans, The Blast reported that Tyrese had sued his ex-wife for owing over $25,000 in tuition fees. She allegedly gained the significant amount after repeatedly failing to cover her share of the bill.

The documents state that the former couple is legally required to split their daughter's tuition fees. However, Tyrese claimed Norma had failed to fulfill her end of the bargain for multiple academic sessions.

Tyrese explained that he covered the total tuition fees for "2022-2023, 2023-2024, and 2024-2025," leaving Norma with a $25,605.50 debt. To ensure her debt repayment, he implored the Court for the authority to deduct the sum from his child support fees.

Since Norma had repeatedly refused to cough up the money despite numerous requests from Tyrese's legal team, he wanted to resolve the matter on his own. If the Court grants his request, the actor will deduct $5,000 monthly from her child support fees.

He plans to deduct the sum until Norma's debt is repaid and hopes to do the same for future tuition fees to avoid another legal drama. The same rule applies to the Family Sanctions his ex-wife owed.

According to Tyrese, the Court ordered Norma to pay $1,500 in Family Sanctions by August 26, 2021, but she skipped the bill for three years. Now, he wants her to pay up with a 10% annual interest, totaling $1,879.32 as of March 6, 2024.
